"I thought the Rundlestone ws not an especially memorable hotel. We had read a recommendation for it on the Internet, and I thought it would offer a lot more in ambiance and attraction than it did. it was clean, and the rooms were neat, but it did not appear particularly upscale as one would imagine it might for the price charged per night. It didn't look very different than the average Holiday Inn or Best Western. Perhaps, all prices are inflated in Banff, and it was a good enough deal by Banff standards!"

The Rundlestone Lodge is located on the main avenue of Banff Springs in heart of the Canadian Rockies. This beautiful, 96 room lodge was built in the Swiss Alpine Style, with steep pitched roofs and dormered windows. The Lodge finished a complete refurbishment in 2001, but has the feel of a lodge from the 1920s featuring stone floors, a hewn log front desk, a large lobby fireplace and comfortable, casual furniture. Individual balconies allow views of the nearby Rocky Mountains. The hotel?s comfortable, intimate atmosphere is reinforced by the friendly service provided by a first rate staff. The Lodges central location allows quick easy access to the areas many attractions.
